Vocabulary Word of the Day

July 5, 2009 at 12:10 pm Matt

Psephophobia, which means “fear of voting,” and is derived from the Greek word for a small stone used to cast a vote in ancient Greece.

COAST does a great job exposing liberal Democrats for opposing the democratic process when it might work in favor of taxpayers by given them a chance to vote on a proposed trolley car. And while I’m typically not a fan of ballot referendums in general, the City of Cincinnati aggressive efforts against this group’s signature collection efforts are quite troubling.

Between Cincinnati Mayor Mark “sissy throw” Mallory and Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman, why are Democrat mayors of poverty-ridden urban communities so hellbent on trolley cars?
